ACRYLATE RESINS

Acrylate resins are injection resins with a high solids content, also referred to as solid resins. Their application is comparable to conventional epoxy and PUR injection resins. Swellable acrylate resins have been developed for applications such as the repeated injection of injection hoses. Machines, equipment and injection hoses can be cleaned with water without the use of solvent-based cleaners. Acrylate resins can be processed at temperatures below 0 °C and can also cure in thin layers, allowing injection work to be carried out under winter conditions.

Rigid acrylate systems provide the mechanical properties required for contact, stabilisation and consolidation injections. Compared with conventional epoxy and PUR resins, they offer specific processing characteristics such as low-temperature application, moisture tolerance and low viscosity throughout the working time. Depending on the system, application temperatures down to −20 °C are possible.
