ARCAN acrylate resins are no gels! Acrylate resins are 100% comparable to Polyurethane resins. They are suitable for the same type of applications such as crack injection, tube injection, joint sealing or honeycomb sealing. The difference lays in the benefits. Acrylate resins can be used below < 5°C, a temperature range where Polyurethan and Epoxy resins stop working. Acrylate resins are much more sustainable than other resins because they do not need cleaning agents to clean equipment and pump. Cleaning with water is sufficient.
Injection resins in this application category are 100% solid and suitable for post-injection after waterstop foams.
