Special Primers

Special primers are chemical couplers made for special applications, where standard primer or bonding bridges are insufficient. ARCAN special primers create extra strong connections on tiles, steel, concrete or screed. The adhesion of a coating is the result of intermolecular connection between surface and coating material. Special primers react in 2 steps. First with the surface and second with the following coating material itself. This reaction between primer and coating is the special feature. Normal primers just close pores, bind dust etc. but they never bond directly in an active reaction with the coating.
Special primers don´t create a film. Special primers are available for all types of coatings PMMA, Epoxy or Polyurethane.
