Adhesives for proper installation of water swellable tapes, are available for water swellable rubber tapes and tapes made of natrium bentonite. There is a difference between glue and swellable mastic. Both are adhesives for water bars. Water swellable mastics are the sophisticated solution to fix water bars to concrete surfaces. Their additional swellability, supports the function of the tape if mounted on uneven or rough surfaces. Glues have no swelling ability and fix the tapes perfectly on smooth surfaces.
