INJECTION TUBE INJECTION

for working joint sealing in civil engineering and tunneling

    ARCAN HydroBloc resins are an excellent choice for injection tube injection. The main criteria is the tube type. Re-injectable tubes need a resin, which could be removed properly from the tube channel, to enable the function of the system even after years. In case of poor cleaning or the use of an unsuitable resin, the inner tube might get blocked and the sealing system is lost forever. Especially mesh tubes are at risk for being stick together by concrete milk and additionally from epoxy or polyurethane resins.
    The best tubing resin is HydroBloc Injekt 583. This hydrophilic resin comes with several advantages, such as long setting time, integrated anti-corrosion additive for active reinforcement protection, swellability in contact with water and humidity which protects the sealing of the joint with automatic repair effect. This tubing resin is acrylate based – but solid – no gel (!) – and allows working below 5°C and the proper and easy cleaning of the injection tube. These feature make HydroBloc Injekt 583 the perfect tubing resin and guarantees the use of the injection tube for as many injection cycles as required.
    All other tubes – standard or swellable are good for PUR or Epoxy resins, they don´t require any cleaning.
