SiliBond SI 711

SiliBond® SI 711 is a two-component silicate injection gel for applications in civil engineering, including the stabilisation of loose, non-cohesive sands and the construction of underground sealing layers, such as sealing bases beneath excavation pits.

It can be used as an alternative to conventional water-glass injection systems. After the components have been mixed, the injection solution reacts from neutral to slightly acidic and forms a water-containing silica gel. The mixed system therefore has substantially lower alkalinity than conventional water-glass injection materials.
